District Wide Modernization

Turpin & Rattan Engineering, Inc. was commisioned by the San Diego Unified School District to perform electrical and technology design services as part of a district wide school modernization effort. These projects include the modernization of existing faciliites, new building additions and new campuses.

Design Includes:

• Electrical:
  Exterior, Interior, and Specialty Lighting; Power Distribution; Fire Alarm; Utility Coordination
• Technology:
  Telephone, Data Network Distribution, Intrusion Detection, Intercom, Television, Bell, Audio / Visual, Master Clock

As part of a long range master plan, firm engineers developed guidelines, specifications and template drawings to serve as District Standards for new electrical and technology systems design.
