Santee Unified School District Modernization

As part of a massive modernization effort, Turpin & Rattan Engineering, Inc. provided electrical and technology system modernization for each of the 9 (nine) schools located within the Santee School District in Santee, California. Design includes the modernization of existing facilities and new building additions.

Design Includes:

• Electrical:
  Exterior, Interior, and Specialty Lighting; Power Distribution, Electrical Connection for Mechanical Systems; Fire Alarm; Utility Coordination
• Technology:
  Telephone, Data Network Distribution, Intrusion Detection, Intercom, Television, Audio / Visual, Master Clock, Bell

The total estimated construction cost for the nine (9) school sites is $150,000,000 with an estimated electrical construction cost of $36,000,000.
